Ordering Transcripts

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary uses Parchment to process official transcript orders, while unofficial transcripts can be accessed by the student in Self-Service or sent to prior students directly by the Registrar Team. Transcripts can be sent electronically as a PDF (recommended), as a hard copy via mail, or picked up at the Registrar’s Office.

What is an official transcript?

An official transcript is a certified document issued by a school or university that provides a complete record of a student's academic achievements, including courses taken, grades received, GPA, and any degrees earned. It typically bears the institution's official seal as well as the signature of the registrar.

What is an unofficial transcript?

An unofficial transcript is a non-official document showing a student's academic history, and generally will not suffice for admissions requirements for academic institutions. It will show GPA, courses taken, the semesters in which they were taken, and the grades received.
